In the Bible, Revelations, it speaks of a leader that will rise as the savior who is really the Antichrist, in the end times.
Note for you minions, a question asked doesn’t designate the questioners belief system, nor is symantecs important in a casual entertainment environment, it only reflects the ignorance and disdain of the answerer.

The are no end times and there is no antichrist.
ahhhhhhhahahah.
he’s gonna eat you! and grill us like kabobs!
ahhhhhhhhhhh….franks red hot sauce please.
No.
anything is possible
first of all if you believe the Bible it says no man knows the end times
so what makes you think these are end times?
are you the anti-christ, because you’re freaking evil/racist and your problem is that WE ALL are going to have a black president, which, you can’t stand. So get over it already!
My wife’s Christian private school taught her that Jimmy Carter was the Anti-Christ. Apparently the Anti-Christ is whoever the religious extremists don’t like at the moment.
ok no one knows this for sure. it is all a matter of opinion.
if opinions are what your asking for i say no! i think he will be a wonderful president. and i think he will fix all the crap bush messed up.
wow, that is really giving him way to much credit!
Are you and Eddy Sax brothers?
Nah, BO is just a mortal man… a soon-to-be celebrity president.
No.
Maybe you shouldn’t base your entire life off something that was first thought about millions of centuries ago.
ummmmm hello? Jesus was a Jew you do know Obama is not Jewish.
No, I don’t.
But this question could have been asked by the village idiot.
If you knew what you were talking about you would know that the in the Bible, it’s Revelation, not Revelations. There is no “s” on the end, so I doubt that you actually have a clue
NO
but he is:
anti-capitalist.
NO maybe the RACIST are if that’s the case what the hell was Bush Pharaoh oh wait were not slaves majority choose him yet like most don’t want to admit they made a mistake not once but twice get off Obama back look in the mirror if u voted pro bush and don’t have a job who’s to blame simply you if your upset that Obama’s Black so what we’ve had plenty of white presidents including the one who is leaving a deficit and many jobless
No… Revelations was written for the ancient world and it was specifically written for a sect of Christianity (who did not call themselves Christians but were Jews who believed that Christ was the messiah… the Jewish faith traditionaly believed that when the messiah finally comes then the end of the world would come soon after). If anyone filled the descriptions of the Anti-Christ then it was Nero.
I am reserving judgment for now… Revelations 13:14 indicates the antichrist will survive an assassination attempt.
No, where did this rumor start any way? So many have asked this question! The Antichrist will be European and dislike women. That’s not him obviously. I believe it could be the president of Iran.
No, that was supposed to be Reagan, Then it was GwB, Now it’s Obama. Make up your minds.
Surrounding yourself with Rahm Emanuel the Ballerina would be a good indicator.
Ahem.
I hope you don’t mind if I use actual sense and reason in a response, do you?
Anything is possible, and I’m not going either way on the issue, but here is the evidence regarding the -possibility- that he is:
He has already been praised, several times, as America’s “Messiah”. What is the anti-Christ supposed to be? A false messiah.
A sign of the Devil’s coming and/or evidence that the rapture has occurred is peace coming to the middle east, and the continual war over Jerusalem ceasing. The anti-Christ is also said to come under a flag of peace, and eventually convincing the world to give up on religion altogether (presumably because it divides humanity). Here are a few quotes from Obama’s Inaugural Address:
“On this day, we come to proclaim an end to the petty grievances and false promises, the recriminations and worn out dogmas, that for far too long have strangled our politics.”
(This particular quote is less relevant than the rest, but as I stated, a huge sign of the anti-Christ’s coming is supposed to be the Peace he brings. Thus is why he is not viewed as evil, but rather as a savior. Peace is a recurring theme in Obama’s statements thus far.. so I’ll go ahead and throw a few more at you.)
“They saw America as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions; greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction. ”
“And so to all other peoples and governments who are watching today, from the grandest capitals to the small village where my father was born: know that America is a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more. ”
“Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions.”
Anyway. Still on peace, but more towards other nations than just America:
“Guided by these principles once more, we can meet those new threats that demand even greater effort – even greater cooperation and understanding between nations. We will begin to responsibly leave Iraq to its people, and forge a hard-earned peace in Afghanistan. With old friends and former foes, we will work tirelessly….”
“For we know that our patchwork heritage is a strength, not a weakness. We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus – and non-believers. We are shaped by every language and culture, drawn from every end of this Earth; and because we have tasted the bitter swill of civil war and segregation, and emerged from that dark chapter stronger and more united, we cannot help but believe that the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself; and that America must play its role in ushering in a new era of peace. ”
“To the Muslim world, we seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect. ”
“To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist. ”
“To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to suffering outside our borders…”
“This is the meaning of our liberty and our creed – why men and women and children of every race and every faith can join in celebration…”
Sounds like the savior of the world, eh? That’s precisely the point. The anti-Christ is to be well-liked, trusted, praised, respected, regarded as a savior. He is to be a man that, in all outward appearances, is the man that you want to stand behind.
To the argument that no man is supposed to know when the end of days is:
That’s not exactly true. No man is supposed to be able to predict the exact date and time, etc. Furthermore, there is supposed to be a rapture, in which all faithful Christians who put their faith in Jesus Christ are taken out of the world, before the suffering begins. Perhaps the fact that no active Christians will be around to spread the word that the prophecies of the Bible are being fulfilled is the reason that the world will not be stopped from uniting under the anti-Christ.
To the argument that Obama uses God and quotes from the Bible in many of his speeches:
The Devil is said to have a man both in politics -and- in religion. The Christian Church, as a matter of fact. Aside from that, there’s the obvious fact that using God not only grants advantage in a presidential campaign (let’s face it – we have yet to have a non-Christian president. Look at our National Anthem, for Christs’ sake.), but it would serve the purpose of dispelling rumors that one is the anti-Christ.
Just a thought, anyway. It’
